General Store Questions
Gofer Ice Cream is a small chain of ice cream shops based right here in Fairfield County CT. We first opened in Greenwich May 23, 2003 and have been serving the community ever since that day.
While the concept was started by Jay Ragusa of Stamford CT, today each store is independently owned and operated.

Gofer Ice Cream is a new brand in made locally under the Gofer Ice Cream label. We make some of our products here in the store and others locally. Our milk is sourced from upstate New York.
Yes our system can accept Apple Pay along with all the major credit cards.
Product Questions
Gofer does offer hard serve frozen yogurt. We also have low calorie Gofer Lite, a soft serve product without the fat and sugar added. Would you like to try it? We also have soft serve premium ice cream. (Some people use the words "frozen yogurt" and are intending to ask about a soft serve option)
Gofer Lite is a fat free no sugar added product made with skim milk and sweetened with Splenda. (Also refer customer to the in store information panel on the product)
Gofer Lite is just 15 calories per ounce. Making a regular size less than 100 calories.
Yes. Some stores offer several flavors of hard serve non dairy products. These products are make with coconut milk.
Our Premium Hard Serve ice cream is 16% butterfat. The Premium Soft serve is a 10% mix. Other products are less. (Please refer customer to the in store nutrition facts book).
Sorry, Gofer is not a nut free store. Many of our products are made in small batches on the same machine. Therefore, we can't guarantee a nut free environment in any way.
Our base ice cream both soft serve as well as our hard ice cream and sorbet is made without egg or gluten. However, some products like Oreo, for example, may include both.
We can take orders for cakes here in the store. All party box or catering orders or questions should go through the website.
Cake orders require 48 hrs notice. Party box or catered events should be at least a week in advance but maybe possible sooner depending our availability.

Gofer pays two times a month. Generally pay will be deposited on the 5th and 20th of the month for the time period of 1- 15th and 16th-31st.
A check can be written, but we prefer to get funds to you as quickly as possible through direct deposit. Direct deposit is done at no cost to you and is quick and simple. See your manager if you have questions in setting up a checking account or how to get the proper routing info needed to get in our system.
For students that are 16 and 17 years old, a lower training wage is paid for up to the first 200 hours of service. Gofer usually adjusts your rate well before this time depending on your training efficiency and your performance.
You should have received a welcome email from our schedule service called Staff Wire. This app allows you to see your schedule as well as request time off. You can also offer up your shift and claim other available shifts.
